For 23 years, The Villages community has come together to support The Villages Charter School (TVCS) through a shared love of great food and friendly competition. The BBQ Bash is a tradition where the “Buffalo HERD” (the dedicated parent organization) and local residents celebrate the spirit of the Buffalo with a BBQ cook off – and this year, they’re bringing their signature smoke and sizzle to their new location in beautiful downtown Middleton.

The BBQ Bash is an annual cook-off that pits teams of grillmasters against each other in a smoke-out throw-down where everyone puts their best dish forward. Spend the day sampling your favorite BBQ flavors while helping support The Villages Charter School.

BBQ Bash features several different categories that our pitmasters are encouraged to try their hand at. With a wide variety of smoked meats, grilled meats, side dishes, and sauces available, there’s sure to be something for everyone! Classic BBQ Bash dishes include:
